-2 to 8 for whole 2 weeks, luckily mostly dry. But the weirdest thing happened on my 3rd lap, out of the blue some clouds came over, wind picked up and it started “raining”, but the rain hurt! Which was weird, then I noticed my arms covered in ice! WTF was that? Ice was falling from the sky, not hail like we get back home. It was like a sandstorm of fine ice! Lasted 10mins then cleared up again.

Icy rain, squire. Happens often over there as I understand... Probably explains the voting.

Needed some climbing miles and decided it is the time that us baggy wearing folk go add some brake bumps on the lycra blokes berms! All is fair you know

The first time I got sleeted on here in Denmark it caused a heated debate and much googling. Turns out sleet is rain that has frozen on it's journey downwards. Hail is rain that has frozen but risen and fallen several times and grown in size before heading to earth. Who knew?

KL is a lovely place around Chinese New Year. Everyone is in a holiday mode & happy. Just one of those evenings when it just awesome to be on a bike. Highly recommended if you are ever in KL on a Tuesday evening.

 

KL launched a lot of the blue cycle lanes last week. In my opinion a brilliant contribution to the infrastructure.
