There is heaps of snow around, even where we live at 425 m above sea level... So you should have good snow at Chamonix! Walking is pretty treacherous at the moment, snow melts and freezes making lots of ice on the pavements and paths. Main and national roads are fine though, they generally treat them to melt any ice. Spent the whole week on ladders at work that left me with small blisters on the soles of my feet in the exact place where the contact patch of the cleat is.Will see if I have a pair of flats to fit and try a tekkie ride tomorrow. All good luckily my shoe took most of the impact and bleeding stopped as soon as I put pressure on it.At least managed and early session.
