Where has your bike taken you today?

Been off the bike for a week, plus today was my anniversary so wanted to be back early, so just did a short one.

Did klap 2 PRs, the first one I’m still 2 min slower than LWB but finished 5th fastest for the day according to Strava.

Second one is an incline outside my neighborhood, it’s the end of the ride so I normally cruise up, but lately I’ve been attacking it, today I’m fastest for the day according to Strava.

Nice ride

Blicksem maar die Vrstaat is plaat

687m / 173 km

Thats why I smaak it here Swiss.

The only negative is that you dont have long downhills to settle down on and relax, eat, drink etc. The power is always on.

But if you want to hear me cry take me to the mountains. Beautiful to look at, crap to ride. IMO

Working from home has completely messed up my commute to work routine.

So this morning I headed out with two of our commuter ladies who have also been working from home for a little spin out to Melkbos and back.

Overcast, but such an awesome morning to be on a bicycle.

We then did the final stretch on the green belts between the flowers.

Had some old legends riding in the sandpit today. Unfortunately I was slow to register and missed the 100 that joined them on the lap. Still very strict COVID restrictions on groups. So only 10 groups of 10 rode along. I was Rider 217 so missed it by a mile.

At least I now have some Strava segments where I’m faster than a 7 time TDF winner. [emoji41]

Nowhere.... Stress and strain taking a toll on my health and wellbeing. Can see it on my resting heart rate over time in the GCM app, never really bothered with that!

The training bikes are washed and raring to go, maybe this afternoon, maybe tomorrow who knows [emoji848]3a2611d9c8c80bd0ace593d81ec9d3e1.jpg
