Another tough day in Africa

I made some new friends today. They loved my bike so much that everybody had to go for a ride on it!

Long ride inspecting the devastation of the 7 passes. I didn't take photos of the burnt pine plantations or the family mill where 400 people have lost their livelihood. I went to the Garden Route Trail Park to refuel but it's closed. Where the trails ran through forest, charred and smoldering stumps remain. Nature will recover but this fire has done some serious damage.
